Mercedes-Benz 250SL Conversion


UPDATE - we now have one happy customer re-united with his lovely Pagoda 250SL, which is now a full convertible, with soft and hard-tops, as well as having had a mechanical re-fresh! 
One of our clients has asked us to convert a Mercedes-Benz 250SL California to a full convertible spec...This involves a lot of cutting and welding in a new section from a donor car, refitting, adding a soft top and much more - below you can see the new soft top in place.  We now have the hard top to re-build so the client has the choice of soft top in summer or hard top for the rainy days.

 One of our clients asked us to source this fabulous rare Alpha - only 1400 built of which 25 were converted to RHD by Ruddspeed in the UK - and to make it a concours-standard car. As always, the deeper we got into it, the more we found that needed doing, but this is going to be an absolutely stunning car when it's finished - watch this space!
